Cricket training session

There are 5 courses to choose from depending on age and ability and are open to 6 - 14 year olds.

ACE 1: Foundation Course for beginners. This course is aimed at the complete novice with little more than a basic knowledge of cricket – (back garden with Dad!). It only uses soft balls and no equipment is required! It coaches the core building blocks of the game and aims to instil a passion and joy for cricket! Lots of catching, throwing and playing of different shots etc.  

ACE 2: Play yourself in (1) for intermediates. This course is aimed at those who have had a season or two at a club, school or foundation course and aims to build on the basic of the game. Depending on the level of the individuals involved this course occasionally uses hard cricket balls for fielding drills. It also introduces bowling.  

ACE 3: Centurion:  pre- season warm up (1).  This course is aimed at those that are ready to or need to move onto hard ball cricket and those that have a few seasons hard ball under their belts. It involves nets practice sessions, drills, shot recaps and practice matches!  

ACE 4: Play yourself in (2) Beginners/intermediates. This course runs on from ACE 2 but can be done on its own. It is aimed at those who have had a season or two at a club, school or foundation course and aims to build on the basic of the game. ACE 5: Centurion: pre- season warm up (2). This course runs on from ACE 5 but can be done on its own. It is aimed at those that are ready to or need to move onto hard ball cricket and those that have a few seasons hard ball under their belts. It involves nets practice sessions, drills, shot recaps and practice matches! At this stage of the year (March/April) the course aims to have the cricketers ready to hit the ground running for the coming season!

Summer Camps: Held during the summer holidays, these are afternoon (1-4.30pm) cricket fun days. Aimed at any standard player. We break them up into ability level groups and play cricket related games, races, drills and matches. Aimed entirely at having FUN!
