Disillusioned with the staid and elitist coaching courses at the counties Phil
Boast and Dan Shepherd decided to start up The Academy of Cricket Excellence
(ACE) to bring quality, enjoyable and accessible coaching for children between
the ages of
6 and 14. Since 2003 word has got around about the quality of the
coaching and how much fun the kids have and the Academy welcomed its 600th
young cricketer to it’s courses and camps last year!
